      We spent over a year gathering the words to over 320 of the most popular Croatian songs and compiling them all into one book which would be an incredible addition to any Croatian music lover's collection.

      We then spent over two years gathering input from customers, doing more research, and monitoring what our own favourite songs are, and we put together the second songbook, which also contains over 300 loved Croatian songs.

      The songs cover all the regions of Croatia, including songs from Istra, Dalmacija, Slavonija, Međimurje, Bosna and Hercegovina, and all points in between! The songs span many decades and are guaranteed to contain favourites of both young and old. In fact, chances are likely that you'll find songs in here that you have forgotten about, but will be absolutely delighted to see once again.

      The timing of the books also afforded us the opportunity to include the lyrics of some of the newer songs, by artists like Vuco, Jole, Petar Grašo, and old favourites from Bijelo Dugme, Prljavo Kazalište, and Parni Valjak, from Meho to Mate Bulić, to Magazin. There probably aren't many here that you don't know!

      You'd think that a book containing over 300 songs would be big and bulky and hard to handle. Not at all! Both volumes of our (as we affectionately call it) pjesmarica come in an easy to carry 51/2" by 81/2" format (I put both of mine in the neck-space of my bugarija case). Both have a durable cover for protection, and are coil-bound for ease of handling. The books lie flat with no trouble at all. The songs are in alphabetical order, and there is a quick table of contents in the back.
